Bremer Barker Catchment Group
An environment resource for our community

The Bremer Barker Catchment Group Inc (bbcg) is a community organisation based in Mt Barker. Our focus is to raise awareness of the importance of our natural environment, and to support those who want to improve or restore their land, waterways or environment to its natural balance.

In the past, we have financially supported rural landholders with revegetation and watercourse management projects. After a recent change to funding arrangements we now provide support and information on our environment, and can usually refer enquirers to an appropriate information or support provider, and sometimes to a project funding source.

We would also like to facilitate groups of people with similar concerns to get together, and you are encouraged to contact us with your story (Email is best initially).

For more information on how we might be able to help, select one of the links to the right. For those familiar with this site, a link on the left should take you directly to your area of interest. If you would like your group listed, please contact us.

The Bremer Barker Catchment Group has a history of service to our community spanning nearly twenty years, but we are at risk of going into recess, due to a lack of resources within our small group. Please Email us to find out more.

Updates occur regularly, but the most recent major update was in April 2010.
